How do you study the Bible? What's the purpose of it? How do you get started? When we make the decision to accept Jesus as our Savior we wonder what do we do now? Bible study is one of the foundational pieces for building a solid Christian life. It's not about religion or going to church, it's about a relationship and now's the best time to get that relationship going.

We have several Bible study tools for you to begin the process of studying God's Word. There are three articles on how to study the Bible each giving you a little different perspective on Bible study. There are several Bible reading plans to get you started, and I've included "Time with God" which I developed through my years of trying on different ways of study until I found what worked for me. Additionally, you will find Bible reading plans and "Read Through the Bible in One Year" which is a reading plan which will taky you through the whole Bible in one year. To find these resources simply put your curser on the "The Bible and Me" label above and a dropdown menu will appear. Pick the plan you'd like to begin with, set up when and where you want to study, and begin.

You will find this is only the beginning for as you become familiar with the Word and ways to uncover its secrets. Your method of study will probably change overtime to meet the needs of your life. Ourprayer is God will bless youin this process and you will grow becoming strong in your faith. Pursue God as He has pursued you. He never gave up on you and continued to put people, places, and things in your life to draw you  to Himself. All you had to do was come to Him when He called. Congratulations on joining the family. Praise God, halleluiah.
