Committed Ministries was founded by Pastor Bob (JustBob) Lythgoe in 2003. In 2004 the Ministry was named JustBob Ministries and then renamed Committed Ministries in 2007 after being joined by his wife Laurie.

 

Originally we shared Jesus with bikers and their families and friends. Then in 2006 an outreach to those struggling with alcoholism, drugs and other kinds of addictions, those affected by someone else's addiction, and those who have been hurt in church and need a place to heal were added. We seek to love others like Jesus.

 

Ordained Ministers of the Gospel through Oregon Gospel Ministries, Bob and Laurie minister to many, speak in churches, address recovery groups, and minister to people in other nations.

 

In August, 2013, we met with the leadership and members of Disciples Motorcycle Ministries in Kristiansand, Norway. Our conversations centered on the possibility of Bob and Laurie becoming members the Disciples and operating in the United States motorcycle world under their covering. The meeting was very successful as both the Disciples and ourselves felt God bringing us all together for the purpose of ministry.

 

Committed Ministries continue to be relevant across cultures and generations, with a genuine love and compassion for helping people heal, find hope, and discover their true potential in this world through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
